Overview

I created static and animated ad campaigns as well as customized user experiences on Pinterst’s platform for major brands.

Cinematic Pins are a made-for-mobile ad format and animate as the user scrolls, allowing brands to say more with motion. The challenge was to create animations or select and edit video cuts that allowed for smooth, seamless transitions and quickly conveyed an idea as the user scrolled.

The M.A.C. campaign introduced a collection of six fragrances each with a unique personality. As a team we came up with a unique Pinterest experience where promoted Pins and boards were used to create a personality quiz that matched the consumer with a fragrance for their personality. I created a pin prompting the user to find their unique scent which then linked them to a series of boards, each with a question, a “Tap to select” CTA and 3-4 Pins for the user to choose from. The output was a personalized board created by Pinterest that showcases their personality fragrance and supporting content.
